Regulated parents = regulated children.
Make a zine about anything - how about what you ate for breakfast? Or your favourite animal facts? Or a poem about wallpaper? The world is your oyster!
Make your own salt dough - it’s cheaper than playdough and you can add different smells to it.
Draw a vase and poke holes in for your flowers and plants which you find on your walk. Great for kids, and great for fans of whimsy.
Keep an eye out for family days at your local parks, museums, libraries etc
GeoCaching is international treasure hunt - this is something you can do while you’re visiting a new place, or while you’re at your local park. Download the app and start trying to find the locations.
Many cities offer free or cheap swimming for children in the holidays, or (if we get any more sunshine) why not cool down in one of the many free paddling pools across the country. Places including Burnley, Bakewell, and Llandudno all have free outdoor splash parks or paddling pools.
Hapa Zome Printing - share what you create. We’d love to see it!
